Gowri Shankar, President and CEO
Gowri Shankar is the President and CEO of SinglePoint, and board member. He has spent the past twenty years within the wireless and media sectors and in many ways continues to provide vision and foresight into the development of the next innovation in the industry. Gowri exhibits a dynamic leadership style and the uncommon vision of the natural entrepreneur. Over the past four years, under Gowri's leadership SinglePoint has firmly established its presence at the forefront of SMS Mobile Advertising. SinglePoint dominates (80% market share per Nielsen) the world of interactive TV and boasts major media clients such as NBCU, Disney/ABC, MTVN/Viacom, CBS, Univision among many others.
Prior to joining SinglePoint, as the General Manager for eAssist Gowri developed and led the international division for the CRM software company. Gowri demonstrated his natural flair for strategic business development early in his career. As a founding member of the Sprint PCS launch team, Gowri created and led the first nationwide telesales and e-commerce distribution channel in the mid 1990s.
Gowri holds a bachelors degree from the University of Madras and a MBA from the University of Missouri.
Joerg Zender, Vice President of Product Development
Joerg Zender is responsible for the mobile advertising and mobile application strategy from a product and technology perspective. Throughout his sixteen year career in telecommunication Joerg has been actively shaping the mobile messaging experience from a product definition and development perspective based upon his electrical engineering master degree. Joerg's vision to create a more ubiquitous messaging experience in the USA was instrumental during CTIA's industry effort for SMS interoperability where he filled the key position of technical lead and was the author of the SMS interoperability specifications.
Prior to SinglePoint Joerg held management and leadership roles at T-Mobile Germany, T-Mobile USA and OZ Communication where he has successfully defined, built and rolled out mobile e-mail, instant messaging and content services for a wide variety of devices and networks focused on a superior end-user experience.
Reagan Ramsey, Vice President of Creative
As Vice President of Creative, Reagan Ramsey oversees the design and creation of mobile campaigns for media clients working directly with program producers, focusing on the design of mobile interactivity that enhances and extends contact with the audience. Prior to SinglePoint, he lived in Europe, working as an international television consultant, concentrating on new channel startups, strategic planning, and new media development. Reagan has an extensive background in television and film production.
Doug Grinspan, Director, Media and Brands
With over ten years of mobile experience, Doug has held a number of roles focused on client strategy. During his tenure at SinglePoint, Doug has directed account strategy and management for SinglePoint's burgeoning media and advertising segments with major publishers, including NBC Universal, MTV Networks, ABC/Disney and CBS. Doug was instrumental in leading the successful deployment of mobile programming for the Beijing and Vancouver Olympic Games. Prior to SinglePoint, Doug spent four years at AT&T as an offer development and negotiations manager, responsible for winning, maintaining and growing Fortune 100 corporate and government accounts. Doug graduated summa cum laude from Emory University with a degree in psychology.
Dayakar Puskoor, Strategic Advisor
Dayakar's distinguished career is showcased by an impressive record of achievement in building high-value mobile, wireless and telecommunications businesses. He is also an advisor to several technology companies and Chairman for both M2Junction and Global Outlook. Dayakar is recognized as a mobile technology expert and has been a key note speaker and panel member at numerous industry events. Previously, he was an executive at Microsoft where his responsibilities included the incubation, development and management of new mobility solutions in addition to overseeing Microsoft's $350 million hosting business.
Prior to Microsoft, Dayakar was founder and CEO of JP Mobile, Dayakar pioneered the industry's first mobile software solutions company which developed several award winning products. He secured $55 million in financing and successfully completed the company's acquisition by Good Technology/Motorola. He has been actively involved with The Indus Entrepreneur (TiE) in Dallas since 1999. Dayakar is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University and earned a master's degree in computer science from Nova University.
